INTERFAITH: Volunteer Instructors Needed for Buddhist Special Religious Instruction Training Program

Dear friends,

The Buddhist Council of Victoria (BCV) is seeking volunteers who are interested in conducting classes in Buddhism for 30 minutes each week in Victorian State primary schools. No prior experience is required.
NEXT TRAINING DATES: (may be subject to change) Monday 3rd & Tuesday 4th August, 2015 10.00am – 3.00pm 15 hours of training, program materials, ongoing support and professional development provided
YOU WILL NEED TO BE:

  • A good communicator with young children
  • A practicing Buddhist with minimum five years experience
  • Able to provide a written reference from a recognised Buddhist teacher
  • Willing to apply for a Working with Children Check
