2019 Lantern Guidelines
Safety is paramount
Lantern must be easily and safely carried in the procession
Does not involve open flames–battery operated tea lights/ candles are acceptable
Feel free to use colour–the more colourful the better
Allow the lanterns to reflect your cultural heritage
Engage your youth groups to participate in the making of lanterns
